Run a scenario by voice sound
You can launch smart home scenarios using voice or its absence from any Yasmina smart speaker. For example, you can:
-
Send push notifications to the parent's phone when the child comes home from school and starts talking on the phone.
-
Turn on the light every time someone starts talking in the kitchen.
-
Turn off home lights if Yasmina doesn't hear a voice nearby for 30 minutes.
By default, this feature is turned off until you activate it.
Launching a scenario by voice is processed locally on the device. Your conversation won't be transmitted to Yango servers.
Add voice activation to the scenario
You can only add voice activation when creating a new scenario. Make sure that the microphone isn't turned off. Otherwise, the scenario won't work.
-
In the Smart home with Yasmina section of the Yango Play app, tap → Scenario in the top right corner.
-
Name the scenario.
-
Tap Add a condition → Device and select the speaker.
-
Tap Voice activation and select one of the options:
-
Hears a voice — To run the scenario by voice sound.
-
Doesn't hear any voices — To run the scenario when there's no voice sound.
-
-
Set the time and select the days of the week when you want the scenario to activate.
If you want the scenario to run only once within the specified period, select One-time launch.
For example, if you've set up a scenario that runs on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 to 12:00, then this scenario will run once on Tuesday and once on Wednesday at the specified time.
If you want to bind the scenario launch to the absence of voice sound, select the duration of silence.
-
Tap Add to continue setting up the scenario.
Disable scenario activation by voice
If you don't want to use voice activation of scenarios for some time, you can disable it.
-
Open the Smart home with Yasmina section in the Yango Play app.
-
Go to Settings → Virtual assistant → Activate scenarios by voice.
-
Disable the option on the devices you need and tap Save. The screen will display the scenarios that will stop working. Tap Save once again.
To resume the activation of scenarios by voice, enable this option on your devices.
You can see completed scenarios and errors in the History section. Use filters to select events with the same status. To learn more about a completed event, tap it.
