Managing smart devices

You can control smart devices in the Smart home with Yasmina section of the Yango Play app or using a smart speaker.

In the Yango Play app

Open the Smart home with Yasmina section in the Yango Play app. Make sure you're using an account that's linked to the device manufacturer's account.
Tap the device and manage it.

Features

The device control screen can display the current sensor readings. For example, air conditioners can tell the temperature in the room, while humidifiers can tell the humidity and the water level in their tank. Sensor indicators can help you select the right work mode and remember to service the device in time.

With Yasmina's help

Call Yasmina and ask her to do something: turn a device on or off, change the color or brightness, or switch to another mode. To see which commands the device supports, tap it in the Smart home with Yasmina section of the Yango Play app. You can see the available commands in the Voice commands tab. Commands can be delayed or performed at a particular time.
To turn a device on or off, say its name, and it'll switch to the opposite state (on if it was off or off if it was on).

You don't need to specify the room: Yasmina will apply the command to the room where the smart speaker is located. For example, the command «Yasmina, open the curtains» will only make the light brighter in the current room.

Find device status

You can ask Yasmina whether a smart device is on or off, what mode it's in, and what its sensors are showing.

Just ask, and she'll contact the device and tell you its current status or readings. To learn more, go to How to get Yasmina's help finding a device's status.

Troubleshooting

If you're not able to manage a smart device, make sure:

The smart device and the Yasmina Home app are linked to the same account

To control the smart device, you need an account on Yango. Log in to the account linked to the manufacturer's account on the device or in the Yango Play app.

Commands are for a specific device or devices

If you want to change the settings for just one device, name it in your command. If you want to manage multiple devices, name the home, room, or group the command applies to.

If you don't, Yasmina will perform the command in the room where the smart speaker is located. For example, the command «Yasmina, open the curtains» will only apply to the current room.

If the speaker isn't linked to a room or the device isn't in the same room as the speaker, the entire home's settings will change. The same will happen if you give a command through another device or the Yasmina Home app instead of the smart speaker.
