Use a power outlet or switch as a lighting device
If you have a switch or smart socket with a regular lighting device (like a floor lamp, table lamp, or sconce) connected to it, turning it on and off using commands for lighting devices may be easier than using commands for the switch or socket. In that case, you'll need to change its type to a lighting device.
Note
The only thing sockets and switches with the “Lighting” type can do with the lighting device connected to them is turn it on and off. You can't control the light brightness, temperature, or color.
To change the device type to “Lighting”:

In the Smart home with Yasmina section of the
Yango Play app, select the socket or the switch and tap

If it's in a device group, remove it, otherwise you won't be able to change its type.

Tap Device type, select Lighting, and then tap Save.

If necessary, add an outlet or switch to the lighting device group. That way, you'll be able to turn it on or off at the same time as the other devices in the group.
