A sensor isn't sending data

If the sensor status in the Yango Play app is Data is not transmitted, make sure the data is updated in the manufacturer's app.

If the data is updated in the manufacturer's app
  1. In the Yango Play app, tap
    plus Created with Sketch.  → Smart home device and select the smart device manufacturer.

  2. Tap Update device list.

    Open Yango Play

After that, make sure the sensor readings have been updated.

If the data isn't updating in the manufacturer's app
  1. Make sure the device is working properly (it should respond when you press the button).

  2. If the sensor is wireless, try changing the battery.

  3. If the sensor is connecting to the hub, restart it.

  4. Reconnect the sensor in the manufacturer's app.

After following these steps, update the list of devices:

  1. In the Yango Play app, tap
    plus Created with Sketch.  → Smart home device and select the smart device manufacturer.

  2. Tap Update device list.

    Open Yango Play

If the sensor still isn't sending data, contact support.
