Music remote in the Yango Play and Yango Play Music apps
In addition to voice commands, you can control music playback on your speaker using the Yango Play or Yango Play Music app. With these apps, you can:
- Stream music, select playlists, and switch tracks.
- Adjust volume.
- Like tracks and other content.
- See what's playing on the speaker, pause and resume playback.
Note
Smart home guests can only use voice control: the administrator's speakers aren't displayed in the Yango Play and Yango Play Music apps on guests' devices.
The feature is only available for the Yango Play and Yango Play Music apps for iOS.
How to control music using an app
If the playback was started using a voice command
- Open the Yango Play or Yango Play Music app. Use any of them to control playback, just like you do when listening to music on your smartphone.
If the playback was started in an app

Switch to listening to music on your speaker using the Yango Play or Yango Play Music app. You'll be able to control playback just like you do when listening to music on your smartphone.
To switch playback to the speaker:
- In the top-right corner, tap the .
- If necessary, allow the app to search for devices in the local network so that it can find devices connected to your Wi-Fi network.
- Select the device you need.
Tip
If you use your smartwatch to control music playing on your smartphone, you can continue using your smartwatch to control playback even after switching to listening to music on your speaker.
