Use adaptive volume
With adaptive volume, Yasmina adjusts her sound to the sounds around the speaker. For example, when it's noisy in the room and the speaker volume is low, Yasmina will respond slightly louder. And vice versa: if it's quiet, she will lower her voice.
How adaptive volume works
- The sound changes smoothly and by no more than 3 levels.
- Yasmina won't use the maximum volume level, even if the room is very noisy.
- When adaptive volume is on, you can't mute the sound: when the volume level is at zero, Yasmina will still respond to a question or play music at volume level 1.
- When using Yasmina as a Bluetooth speaker, the volume level is determined by the device from which the sound is transmitted.
How to adjust adaptive volume
By default, Yasmina's adaptive volume is on for all speakers in your home. Here's how to manage it:
-
Open the Yango Play app and go to Settings → Virtual assistant.
-
Turn off or turn on Yasmina's adaptive volume.
You can also turn adaptive volume on or off in Yasmina's Sound settings section. If you have multiple speakers in your home, the settings will apply to all of them.
