# How do I share Wi-Fi from a mobile device?
If you find yourself in a place without a Wi-Fi network or where additional login is required to connect, you can use the Wi-Fi hotspot on your smartphone:

1. First, turn on a regular Wi-Fi network on your phone.
1. Turn on the hotspot in your phone's settings.
1. Make sure the Wi-Fi network name doesn't contain Arabic letters, spaces, or special characters. To change it, go to **Settings** → **Network & Internet** → **Hotspot & Tethering** → **Wi‑Fi Hotspot** → **Access Point Name (APN)**.
1. On the Wi-Fi selection screen of the {height=20px} Yango Play app, tap **Connect to a hidden network**. Enter the hotspot name and password. Follow the instructions in the app.
