Share your smart home with other people

You can you share your smart home with four other people: they'll become guests and will be able to control smart home devices together with you. For example, they'll be able to turn the lights on and off, select modes for appliances, and view sensor readings.

Guests can introduce themselves to Yasmina in your home's smart speakers to:

  • Manage the playback of their tracks.
  • Set their music preferences (if they have an active Yango Play subscription).

Only the smart home administrator can define the equalizer settings and content filtering mode for searching.

Adding a guest

  1. The smart home administrator needs to:

    1. Open the  Yango Play app.
    2. Find the home they need and tap  → People.
    3. Show the QR code to the guest or send them the link.

  2. The guest needs to:

    1. Install the  Yango Play app and log in with your Yango Play account.
    2. Scan the QR code or follow the link sent by the smart home administrator.
    3. Accept the invite.
    4. Add the smart home name.

Deleting a guest

  1. Open the Smart home with Yasmina section in the  Yango Play app.

  2. Find the home you need and go to People.

  3. Select the user and tap Remove from home.
