Yango Play subscription

Yango Play offers a subscription to entertainment services that you can share with three other people and use on 20 devices. You can activate the subscription only in countries where Yasmina speakers are available for purchase. Learn more about Yango Play

Manage the Yango Play subscription

To manage the subscription, go to your account page in the app. Scroll down the home page of Yango Play and tap the profile name.

On the account page, you can:

  1. Check the status of your subscription.
  2. Add friends or family members to the subscription.

You can also:

  1. Edit personal data.
  2. Check legal information.
  3. Contact support if you need assistance in English or Arabic.

How to add friends or family members to the Yango Play subscription

You can share your Yango Play subscription with three friends or family members:

  1. In the Yango Play app, scroll down and tap the profile name. You can also do that on the Yango Play website.
  2. Go to Family.
  3. Tap Invite family member.
  4. Tap Share link to copy the invite link.
  5. Send the link to the person you want to invite. The link will be valid for one week. Each user needs their own link.
  6. Ask the person you've invited to accept the invitation.
  7. Invited users need to follow the link and enter their phone number to log in to their account or create a new one.

As soon as they accept the invitation and become members of your family in Yango Play, they'll be able to enjoy all the benefits of your subscription on five devices simultaneously.

To take advantage of the subscription benefits, invited users need to be logged in to their Yango Play account. Then they need to follow the link you've sent to join the family group.

Note

  • One user can't be a member of multiple families at the same time. You can add a user from another region, but only if Yango Play is available there.

  • You can change or return to it only once every 14 days. This restriction applies to both the subscription owner and their family members.

What the speaker can do without a subscription

Even if you cancel the subscription, you can continue to:

Without a subscription, you won't be able to listen to music or watch movies and series on the TV and in Yango Play mobile app.

Questions about the free subscription

What do I get when I purchase Yasmina?

All new subscribers to Yango Play get a free 180-day trial.

With the subscription, you can:

  • Listen to music and soundtracks.

  • Watch movies and series on TV or mobile.

  • Share a subscription with three other people and connect up to 20 devices to each account.

How do I activate the free subscription period?
  1. In the Smart home with Yasmina section of the  Yango Play app, go to   Settings.

  2. Go to Purchases and subscriptions and tap the gift banner at the top of the screen.

    Complete the subscription process in the app. You can only activate the free subscription once per account. You can activate the subscription only in the country where Yasmina speakers are sold.

Can I renew my gift subscription?

Your subscription Yango Play renews automatically. After the free period is over, your account is debited for the next period. You can opt out of subscription renewal before the end of the trial period or later.

Disable subscription auto-renewal

Your subscription renews automatically:

  • After you get a Yango Play subscription (when you enable the trial period on the website or purchase Yasmina and get a free trial period).

  • After you pay for a subscription to the video services.

  • After you activate a promo period.

You can opt out of subscription renewal seven days before the end of the promotional period or later.

  1. Go to the subscription management page.
  2. Select the active subscription.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.

Cancel subscription

To cancel the Yango Play subscription:

  1. Open the Yango Play app and tap your name.
  2. In the window that opens, select Subscriptions.
  3. Scroll down the page and tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

The benefits of your subscription will remain available until the end of the current paid period.

Note

If you log out of your account, delete it, or uninstall the app, your subscription won't be canceled.

  1. Tap your name on the home page of the Yango Play app.
  2. In the window that opens, select the section Subscriptions.
  3. Scroll down the page and tap Cancel subscription.

  1. Open the link play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
  2. Find the Yango Play subscription.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  2. Tap Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases.
  3. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription.
