The remote is always ready to go and turns on as soon as you pick it up. If you need to turn it on manually, press the button.

Press and hold the button to speak your commands into the remote. Press the button once to activate the virtual assistant.

Setting up the remote control

Initial setup

  1. Please remove the protective tape on the back of the remote.
  2. Ask Yasmina to connect the remote and follow her voice prompts.

Reset

If the remote and Yasmina Max have lost connection and the TV doesn't respond to some buttons, try reconnecting the remote:

  1. Check the batteries in the remote. Make sure they're inserted correctly with the positive and negative sides facing the right way.
  2. Put the remote into pairing mode: press and hold the and buttons for three seconds until a blue ring lights up on the remote.
  3. Ask Yasmina to connect the remote and follow her voice prompts.

What the lighting means

You can check the status of your remote by the color of the light ring around the navigation buttons.

Red

How many times does the ring blink?

Four times
  1. Reset remote control to factory settings:

    1. Press and hold the OK and  buttons for five seconds.
    2. Press and hold the OK and  buttons for five seconds.
  2. Take out the batteries from the remote control.

  3. Reset Yasmina Max to factory settings following these steps.

  4. After setting up the speaker, insert the batteries back in and ask Yasmina to connect the remote.

Two times after pressing the button on the remote

Change the batteries in the remote. Make sure they're inserted correctly with the positive and negative sides facing the right way.

Wait a few minutes. If the remote didn't connect automatically, set it up again.

Blue

Your remote is probably trying to connect to Yasmina Max. It does so automatically when you first set it up or if the connection is lost.

  1. Make sure the speaker is turned on and active.
  2. Lay the remote flat on a table and wait about a minute.
  3. Pick up the remote and hold it vertically.

Blinking constantly, the remote doesn't work

The remote must be updating. If this takes too long:

  1. Reset remote control to factory settings:

    1. Press and hold the OK and  buttons for five seconds.
    2. Press and hold the OK and  buttons for five seconds.
  2. Take out the batteries from the remote control.

  3. Reset Yasmina Max to factory settings following these steps.

  4. After setting up the speaker, insert the batteries back in and ask Yasmina to connect the remote.
