Yasmina reports a device problem or remains silent
What does Yasmina say?
“Some error has occurred”

Restart the router by disconnecting it from the power supply, waiting ten seconds, and plugging it back in. Then restart Yasmina.

Check Yasmina's connection to mobile Wi-Fi.

First, turn on a regular Wi-Fi network on your phone.

Turn on the hotspot in your phone's settings.

Make sure the Wi-Fi network name doesn't contain Arabic letters, spaces, or special characters. To change it, go to Settings → Network & Internet → Hotspot & Tethering → Wi‑Fi Hotspot → Access Point Name (APN).

On the Wi-Fi selection screen of the Yango Play app, tap Connect to a hidden network. Enter the hotspot name and password. Follow the instructions in the app.
iOS

Turn on the personal hotspot in your phone settings.

Make sure the Wi-Fi network name doesn't contain Arabic letters, spaces, or special characters. To change it, go to Settings → Common use → About → Name.

On the Wi-Fi selection screen of the Yango Play app, tap Connect to a hidden network. Enter the hotspot name and password. Follow the instructions in the app.

Is it connected to the internet now?
Yes
To resolve this issue, please contact your internet service provider. There might be a problem on their end.
Your provider should do the following:

Make sure the LAN and WAN ports on your router are working correctly and not blocking Yasmina.

Review your router's firewall and parental control settings. Temporarily turn off any restrictions or firewalls.

Confirm that your network can connect to Yango servers.

If you're still having trouble, please contact support. Please include your device ID in your support request. You can find it in the Yango Play app (in the speaker settings) or on the bottom of the device. In the request, please confirm that you've tried connecting to mobile internet.

“Failed to connect to the Wi-Fi network”

Restart the router by disconnecting it from the power supply, waiting ten seconds, and plugging it back in. Then restart Yasmina.

“Sorry, I didn't hear that well. Can you play the sound again?”

Set the smartphone volume at level 5–6.

Place the smartphone speaker closer to the top panel of the speaker, but don't press it tightly.

Press the button Start over and try connecting it to Wi-Fi again. Make sure you enter the correct network name and password.

If you have multiple Wi-Fi networks at home, select the network you want to connect Yasmina to on your phone and repeat the setup.

If you connect Yasmina Max using an Ethernet cable, make sure that the cable is working properly and the plug is securely connected to the port. After that, repeat the setup.
“No user account”
There's most likely no account linked to Yasmina (for example, if you unlinked your account and didn't link another one). To make Yasmina work, you need to configure it.
“No Internet connection”
“The tape got jammed”

Yasmina needs a stable Wi-Fi connection to work properly. Put your phone next to Yasmina and see how many signal bars it shows. If you get fewer than half of the bars, move Yasmina closer to the router.
“There is no Internet access on the Wi-Fi network. Check your internet connection and start setup again”
If the Wi-Fi network requires additional authorization (such as in a hotel), your device probably won't be able to connect. Use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot:

- Restart the router by disconnecting it from the power supply, waiting ten seconds, and plugging it back in.
- Restart Yasmina.
- Reset your speaker to the factory settings.
Yasmina is silent
If Yasmina is silent and you see the error message «Failed to connect device via Bluetooth» or «Failed to configure the device» on your phone, try the following:
Yasmina Max
- Make sure that Yasmina Max is in Wi-Fi setup mode: lighting should blink blue.
- Bring your phone closer to Yasmina Max, tap Play the sound again → Play sound, and wait for the connection to complete.
- If you still can't connect the device, tap Configure without sound and follow the instructions on your phone.
Alert
Don't share video or audio recordings of your speaker connecting to Wi-Fi. The sound contains an encrypted version of your Wi-Fi password.
Yasmina Midi
- Make sure that Yasmina Midi is in Wi-Fi setup mode with contour lighting pulsating white.
- Bring your phone closer to Yasmina Midi, tap Try again, and wait for the connection to complete.
- If you still can't connect the device, tap Connect with sound and follow the instructions on your phone.
Alert
Don't share video or audio recordings of your speaker connecting to Wi-Fi. The sound contains an encrypted version of your Wi-Fi password.
Yasmina Mini
- Make sure that Yasmina Mini is in Wi-Fi setup mode: lighting should blink blue.
- Bring your phone closer to Yasmina Mini, tap Play the sound again → Play sound, and wait for the connection to complete.
- If you still can't set up the device, tap Start over and try reconnecting to the Wi-Fi network. Make sure you enter the correct network name and password.
Alert
