Is it connected to the internet now?

Yes

There's most likely a problem with the Wi-Fi settings. Here's what to do:

  • Change the Wi-Fi network name (SSID).

    Alert

The SSID can't contain emojis, spaces, or Arabic or Unicode special characters. You can only use Latin letters and numbers.

  • When connecting Yasmina to a 5 GHz network, change the frequency channel in the Wi-Fi settings. You'll find them in the router's web interface.

After making the changes, restart the router by disconnecting it from the power supply for 5–10 seconds.

No

Send us your device ID. You can find it in the  Yango Play app (in the speaker settings) or on the bottom of the device. In the message, please confirm that already tried to connect to mobile internet.

Is it connected to the internet now?

Yes
  1. Restart the router by disconnecting the power source for 5–10 seconds.

  2. Open the router's web interface. To do this, enter the router's IP address into the browser search bar and log in. The following data is normally used:

    • Address — 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
    • Username — admin.
    • Password — admin.
  3. Change the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) if it contains invalid characters.

    Alert

The SSID can't contain emojis, spaces, or Arabic or Unicode special characters. You can only use Latin letters and numbers.

  4. If automatic selection is enabled for Wi-Fi channels, disable it. We recommend setting up channel 1, 6, or 11 and a channel width of 20 MHz if the device is connected to a 2.4 GHz network, or channel 36, 40, 44, or 48 if the device is connected to a 5 GHz network.

No

Send us your device ID. You can find it in the Smart home with Yasmina section of the  Yango Play app (in the speaker settings) or on the bottom of the device. In the message, please confirm that already tried to connect to mobile internet.

«Sorry, I didn't hear that well. Can you play the sound again?»
  1. Tap Try again or Start over and try reconnecting to the Wi-Fi network. Make sure you enter the correct network name and password.
  2. If you have multiple Wi-Fi networks at home, select the network you want to connect Yasmina to on your phone and repeat the setup.

«No user account»

There's most likely no account linked to Yasmina (for example, if you unlinked your account and didn't link another one). To make Yasmina work, you need to configure it.

«No Internet connection»

If Yasmina is connected but still reports the error, reserve the IP for the MAC address of the device.

  1. Open the router's web interface. To do this, enter the router's IP address into the browser search bar and log in. The following data is normally used:

    • Address — 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
    • Username — admin.
    • Password — admin.
  2. In the menu, find DHCP. Depending on the router model, you may find it in the main menu or under Network or Internet.

  3. Find Yasmina in the list of devices connected to the router. Its identifier (MAC address) and reserved IP are displayed next to the device.

  4. Set Yasmina's IP address manually.

  5. Save the changes and restart Yasmina.

Note

Only the last number should differ from other addresses. It should be in the range from 2 to 254, and it can't be taken by another device in the DHCP → DHCP client list.

If automatic selection is turned off for Wi-Fi channels, turn it on. Automatic channel selection can help if you have a lot of devices creating electronic noise in your home, but it doesn't always work correctly.
