Problems with Zigbee™ devices

Lost communication with the device, the device isn't responding, or sensor readings aren't updating

When communication with the hub is lost, sensors send data and try to contact it less often, up to once a day (depending on the manufacturer or device type), in order to conserve energy.

  1. Make sure Yasmina Midi is online.
  2. Check the device battery level.
  3. Restart the speaker.
  4. Make sure the device is in connection mode and try connecting again. The device search time is limited to 45 seconds.

If the connection is OK, check the sensor by changing the readings (for example, blow on the humidity sensor or move your hand near the motion sensor) and waiting for the values to update.

Sensor readings take a very long time to update
  • Make sure the sensor is working properly (responding when you press the button).
  • Change the sensor battery.
  • Reconnect the sensor to the speaker.
  • If the speaker was turned off, the sensors should return to normal operation within a day.

Each sensor has its own operational algorithm and sends data with its own regularity. The delay could be caused by your device characteristics.

I can't connect a device

Make sure that:

  1. The device is supported.
  2. Search mode is on in the app, and the search time (45 seconds) hasn't expired.
  3. The device has been switched to connection mode.

If you still can't connect the device, contact support.
