Manage Zigbee™ devices
Yasmina Max and Yasmina Midi support the Zigbee protocol. They can act as a hub and control other smart home devices.

Connect a device
Alert
If you unlink the hub speaker from your account, all linked devices will be deleted.
New device

Make sure that your Zigbee device is supported and place it next to Yasmina Max or Yasmina Midi.

Start searching for devices on the speaker. Do that by saying “Yasmina, connect a new device”. Yasmina will reply that she started looking.
Otherwise, use the app Yango Play
Select the hub speaker and tap Zigbee devices → Connect a new device → Start search.

Switch the device to connection mode. The speaker will add it to the smart home.
How to switch to connection mode
- You usually just need to connect the device to a power source (for network devices) or pull out the protective battery label (for sensors) and hold down the button. Devices often signal that they're in connection mode by blinking.
- To connect a smart light bulb, try turning it on and off 3-5 times.
To learn more about switching the device to connection mode, read the manufacturer's instructions.
If you want to connect multiple devices at the same time, make sure they're all in connection mode.
I'm having trouble connecting a device
Make sure the device is in connection mode and try connecting again. The device search time is limited to 45 seconds.
If you still can't connect the device, contact support.
Moving a device to another hub
To connect a device to another hub, disconnect it from the current one:

Open the
Yango Play app, select the device, and tap . -
Tap Verify. Then connect the device to the right hub.
Troubleshooting
Multiple hubs in the same home
You can have multiple hubs in the same home. Devices themselves can only be linked to a single hub. If the hub is unavailable, you can't manage linked devices.
Check the connection

To see which Zigbee devices are connected to a specific hub, select it in the
Yango Play app and tap the Zigbee devices. -
To see which hub a device is connected to, select the the device in the
Yango Play app and tap About the device.
